We can help you maximise the potential by; helping to re-educate how you go about your daily tasks we can also install additional items such as an Eddi, to heat your hot water via your immersion heater or a battery, to store any generated energy not used in the house rather than selling back to the grid. Therefore, even if you are not home, the system is still working for you! Heat your water with solar Priority is always given to the electrical items in the home, if they are not being used, or are less than what the system is producing, then the extra energy (which would normally go back to the grid) would be diverted to the Eddi appliance. It is not designed to heat your hot water as the immersion does, it is designed to work alongside it. It will give a gradual heat to the water in your tank (depending on the surplus energy your Solar Panels are producing) and so may need to be boosted by the immersion heater, which you can turn on as you would normally, only with the Eddi installed, you can do it via its interface instead. Think of a pot of water on a low heat, it will be longer to heat than a kettle, but it will gradually get up to temperature. With an Eddi installed, you are maximizing the usage of all the electricity produced by the PV system, instead of feeding it back to the grid. Optional information Supplied and installed £650 + VAT to include the app (hub), or £600 + VAT without the app. Battery Storage Can be fitted alongside the installation of PV or retrofitted at a later stage. Most popular is 4.8kWh for a residential property. While it may increase your overall payback on initial outlay, it does ensure you maximize the potential savings on system generation.
