Bristol City Leap is an innovative partnership between Bristol City Council and Ameresco Ltd, dedicated to accelerating green energy investment in Bristol and contributing to the city's decarbonization efforts. Over the next five years, Bristol City Leap will invest nearly £500 million in low carbon energy infrastructure, including solar, wind, heat networks, heat pumps, and energy efficiency measures. These initiatives aim to help Bristol achieve its carbon reduction targets and become carbon neutral by 2030. Bristol City Leap has the potential to significantly enhance the quality of life for residents by increasing home warmth and comfort, improving air quality, and creating over 1,000 local jobs.
