At Enviroblinds, we are passionate about our energy saving external blinds and solar shading products, which provide thermal and visual comfort for health and well being. We offer the choice of product and technical advice to optimise your solar shading project. Inspired by the widespread use of external shading in architecture across Europe, Enviroblinds was founded by Vanessa Marshall, David Marshall and Hanna Ylitalo in 2012 from a KTP research project with the University of Brighton, to understand the thermal performance of external blinds. Enviroblinds pioneered external shading in the UK and our business has since grown with a mission to provide aesthetic, sustainable and durable dynamic solar shading that delivers thermal and visual comfort, without the need for air conditioning. Our wide range of dynamic solar shading products improve energy efficiency by regulating solar gain to passively cool or heat buildings and reduce their carbon emissions. External shading is desperately needed to improve energy efficiency and meet our net zero target, yet remains to be uncommon in our buildings. Therefore, to inform our clients of the energy saving and cost benefits for their project, we offer dynamic thermal modelling and life cycle costing of our external shading products. Enviroblinds provides detailed product and technical advice to optimise and deliver each solar shading project successfully. Our collaborative method of working with our clients is consistently underpinned by honesty and integrity to achieve the best outcomes. Our products reduce energy consumption but we are conscious and committed to strive continuously towards reducing our carbon footprint as a business.
